Harris Goldman, President

Harris has enjoyed a multi-faceted career in the meeting and event industry and the performing arts, working with some of the world’s greatest performers including Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winners. He founded HGP in 1992, after producing the inaugural Gala for the Pacific Rim Forum international summit. He went on to produce PacRim Forum Galas in Bali, Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Sydney.

Under Harris’ leadership, the HGP team has produced creative solutions for a wide range of corporate and association clients including those in the financial, insurance, direct sales, service and healthcare industries. He has been honored with an ISES Esprit Award for “Best Entertainment Production”, ISES San Diego Award for “Best Corporate Event”, and as a finalist for Event Solutions Spotlight Awards as Event Producer of the Year, Event Company of the Year, and “Best Design/Décor”, as well as “Best Production Company” by American Entertainment Magazine.

Prior to forming HGP, Harris managed or produced over 130 theatrical productions from Broadway to regional theatres, including company management of A Chorus Line on Broadway.

Active in the community, Harris has served on the boards of arts and AIDS organizations, and has provided strategic planning, organizational assessments and facilitation of board retreats for non-profits. He is also a credentialed mediator and has taught university financial and arts management courses.
