Project:

Youngevity Annual Convention

Audience:

2,500 from across the U.S. and around the world

HGP helped Youngevity take over one of our favorite venues – the beautiful Hilton San Diego Bayfront – for its 2018 Convention themed “Better Together” – and yes, we were! Each level of the hotel was dedicated to uniquely engaging and empowering the attendees, from general sessions; to breakouts and workshops; to an expansive “Hub” with an Expo featuring dozens of brands in the Youngevity family, a demo stage, tiki-style beverage bar, retail store and more; to a closing Glow Party where the huge dance floor was packed all night.

"Thank you for all the hard work, professionalism and dedication this past week and the months leading up to it. Your team, always with a smile, did an amazing job of working through some serious challenges and making it look seamless."

Director of Events, Youngevity

Project:

Annual Franchise Convention

Audience:

1,000 Franchisees, Operating Partners and General Managers from across the U.S.

Returning to our Broadway roots, we were thrilled to produce this franchise convention in New York City at the Marriott Marquis Time Square. Inspired by the event’s Broadway Theatre District location, we suggested the theme “It’s Showtime!” to draw parallels between Broadway’s and our client’s commitment to a culture of excellence, and how both strive to deliver an outstanding experience for their respective “audiences” day in and day out.

In addition to invaluable presenter content, videos and keynoters like Tony Dungy and Deion Sanders, the general sessions and recognition segments featured outstanding Broadway musical-theatre performers in numbers from ON THE TOWN, COME FROM AWAY, WAITRESS, NINE and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. The talent of these artists was matched only by their good spirits, discipline and willingness to rehearse at 7 AM! What a pleasure to work with such consummate professionals.

Close To My Heart Annual Convention

Audience:

1,000 Consultants from across the U.S. and Canada

After a few years with Disney, Close To My Heart reunited with HGP as their production partner for the convention at the Salt Palace. “We laughed, we cried” would be an accurate description of our week together as inspirational and humorous memories were shared from the stage by consultants, leaders and keynoters as an expression of the event theme “Who Tells Your Story”. We were delighted to also electronically share the extraordinary first general session with nine CTMH locations in Australia and New Zealand. The HGP team can’t wait to start planning next year’s convention in Las Vegas!

"You guys are better than Disney. I mean, Disney is good, but you guys get us better."

Chief Operating Officer, CTMH

Sunrider International Grand Conventions

Audience:

3,500 Independent Business Owners from 30 Countries

HGP has produced many Sunrider International Annual Grand Conventions, attended by audiences from around the globe, simultaneously translated into 9 different languages.

To engage the diverse crowds throughout the general sessions, we’ve involved audience members in interactive fun that reinforce learning points.  Dynamic segments have included Are You Smarter than a Sunrider Kid?, a product-building tricycle race, and onstage Dance Dance Revolution and cooking contests. Adding original musical numbers and insightful presentations by top executives always keeps the energy and retention of new information high.

"Set with dramatic lighting, an elaborate stage, and a dazzling multimedia background, the expansive Anaheim Convention Center Arena was perfectly cast for Friday’s General Session, presenting seemingly limitless possibilities. Friday’s program gave full flight to those possibilities- making the emotions, energy, and dreams of the attendees soar."

Director of Art & Communications, Sunrider International

Project:

Golden Corral Annual Convention at The Gaylord National in Washington D.C.

Audience:

1,000+ Restaurant Managers and Franchisees from across the U.S.

Being in our nation’s capital is always inspirational and it’s even better when we’re there to work with our long-term client Golden Corral.  At this convention, we integrated into general sessions and awards programs some of D.C.’s finest talent, including Howard University’s Afro Blue, the Howard Gospel Choir, and singer/guitarist Tom Maxwell.  As a surprise cap to the final general session, we brought in the incomparable Lee Greenwood who earned an enthusiastic standing “o” with his personal thoughts on the convention theme “The Pursuit of Happiness” followed by a stirring rendition of his “God Bless the USA”.

"You each are a true pleasure to work with and you make my job so much easier. You always embrace each new challenge with a smile and willingness to make it happen, even when this often means working more hours. A big thank you for keeping us on time in addition to looking out for our budget!"

Director of Human Resources, Golden Corral Corporation

Project:

Leading Auto Service Franchisor Convention at The Venetian/Palazzo, Las Vegas

Audience:

650 Franchisees and Managers from across the U.S.

“It’s time to ‘raise the stakes’ and that’s not just a catch phrase,” said the COO of this leading franchise company to attendees at their 2015 convention in Vegas.  Coming off an outstanding 2014, the focus was still on continual improvement so franchisees engaged in workshops, breakout and leadership sessions, and best practices panels.  Their successes were feted at a Welcome Pool Party and celebratory Awards Night.  HGP was proud to once again provide all creative, production and AV services, as well as pre-event and onsite video production, entertainment and party décor.

"It’s ridiculous how good you are at what you do! It’s such a pleasure to have the orchestra that is your team, making the folks from our team look good."
